01. I love Space!
02. I love Mars!
04. What a brilliant soundtrack! David Bowie, Abba - can't beat it! It really added feeling and dimension to the film which only the best soundtracks do.
05. Aside from the obvious Matt Damon; Chiwetel Ejiofor, Donald Glover, Kate Mara and Sean Bean were all excellent in their roles. I was really impressed with the breadth of the cast and there weren't any weak choices in my opinion.
06. This is one of the only 3d films I've seen that actually used 3d well, and that I thought was worth paying extra for. It also didn't give me a headache, as 3d films usually do, and I only felt motion sickness a couple of times in particularly fast-moving shops.
07. This film gave me serious, serious emotions. It was terrifying, joyful, heartbreaking, exciting, moving - I literally felt every emotion you could think of. I am admittedly a crier during films but usually only once or twice. This film had me crying, practically sobbing, throughout, for so many different reasons. Never has the phrase 'all the feels' been more accurate.
08. I loved the ratio of female to male characters, especially for a STEM film. It kind of annoys me that I'm surprised by this because it shouldn't be something we still have to strive for, but this film is a step in the right direction.
09. The cinematography and special effects were just stunning. When talking about it with my boyfriend on the way home I just kept stammering "How did they...How did they even?!"
10. I really REALLY need to read the book.
